This cottage sits up a small hill from the water. Just a short walk across the street are right of ways to the shore of Quonochontaug Pond where the views of the pond are spectacular. The water can also be viewed from the front rooms of the house and of course the balcony and screened porch. The main living area of the house is upstairs while downstairs is a large gameroom. There is an outside shower under the porch behind the stairs where swimmers can clean up before going inside. A patio is just outside the sliding glass doors of the gameroom with a glider couch and chairs to use while enjoying the yard. On the porch in the front of the house are two rocking chairs where you can sit to enjoy the sunrise if you desire. Around the side on the porch is an outside table and chairs along with a gas grill to use for cooking meals. Then there is the favorite room of most renters, the screened porch which has comfortable seating plus another table and chairs for sitting and eating while keeping safe from the flying insects and enjoying the breezes and wonderful views.
The backyard of the house features a rock garden which has perennials and plants that bloom at varying times throughout the season. There is a grassy area
where children can play and enjoy the shade of the trees surrounding the yard.
